Qualifications VNE, LLC is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Senior DevOps Engineer Minimum Qualifications: Education: HS Diploma or GED Experience: Experience developing custom applications and supporting them in a production environment 5 years of experience building and supporting DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines 3 years of experience with containerization, building images and orchestrating deployments in Kubernetes 2 years of experience managing tools deployed with Helm using ArgoCD or Flux and writing custom Helm charts 2 years of experience with automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef) Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions Knowledge of container security technologies with experience evaluating and mitigating or resolving vulnerability finding TS/SCI level Clearance required. Additional Qualifications Desired: Experience developing in Java or Python Experience with Prometheus/Grafana and/or ElasticSearch/Kibana and FluentD Experience with design, deployment, and management of Cloud environments, including AWS or Azure Experience with using or migrating continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline solutions or tools, including Jenkins, Git, or TeamCity Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby and leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration Knowledge of cloud and virtualization-based technologies, including Docker, Azure, AWS, or VMware Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation Knowledge of foundational system administration principles Knowledge of and experience with classified environment processes and protocols Kubernetes certification Job Description: As a platform engineer on our team, you'll play a crucial role in translating customer requirements and future goals into innovative solutions that support a mission-critical defense IT system. Essential Duties of the Job: Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner. Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups. Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
