Job Description: We are seeking a passionate Product Owner for our Salesforce platform to enhance solutions, solve strategic challenges, and improve the daily experience for our end users. As part of the Investor Relations Technology team at Blackstone, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to define, manage, and implement enhancements and new features for Salesforce. The Salesforce platform at Blackstone serves a diverse range of business groups and integrates with numerous core systems and third-party applications. In this role, you will focus on improving, expanding, and reimagining the platform within one of the world’s leading investment firms. You will work alongside various teams utilizing Salesforce to develop features and tools that support our growing businesses. Additionally, you will ensure that all features are designed and developed consistently and in alignment with Salesforce best practices. Your contributions will be vital as we advance the next generation of client relationship management at Blackstone. Responsibilities: Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce initiatives, driving the implementation of new features, enhancements and cross-functional projects. Document and analyze technology and data requests related to client relationship management across the organization, ensuring alignment with business needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize the backlog, and coordinate comprehensive testing processes. Evaluate feature requests and enhancements within the context of the broader system architecture. Establish guidelines for evaluating feature requests, ensuring decisions align with enterprise data governance and overall business strategy. Assess and quantify the ROI of new features and enhancements to ensure value-driven decision-making. Translate business requirements into functional proofs of concept, utilizing UAT best practices to gather feedback and refine solutions into viable MVPs. Promote user adoption by creating detailed functional documentation and delivering training sessions on new features. Engage proactively with users across the firm to identify pain points, facilitating brainstorming sessions to develop innovative solutions. Identify opportunities for new data sets and visualizations, focusing on process and system improvements that enhance data quality, governance and reporting capabilities. Manage multiple project tasks and workstreams, developing and maintaining project timelines while providing proactive status updates to senior management. Qualifications: Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team environment, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications: 5+ years of experience in consulting, financial services, product management, and/or business transformation preferred. User-focused – you dig deep to understand user needs. You have experience conducting thorough research to understand user motivations and workflow and can clearly communicate them using appropriate methods (ex: user flows, personas, etc.). Data-driven – you use data and user research to help drive decisions in areas like design and prioritization. Decisive – you can lead and manage projects with minimal oversight and make independent decisions, but know when to reach out when guidance or additional feedback is needed. Detail-oriented – You have experience recording detailed requirements or design documents and are comfortable documenting end-to-end functional and technical reporting and data needs. Adaptable – You want to work in a dynamic environment requiring you to flex between analytical, strategic, and operational aspects of the job. Regardless of the need, you’re happy to roll up your sleeves to get any job done. Independent – You can work effectively as an individual contributor and possess strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines. Strong Interpersonal and Collaborative Skills – You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You know how to drive consensus among stakeholders, manage expectations, and keep strong relationships. Experienced with Agile Processes – You have worked in Agile environments and know how to break down key features into appropriate user stories. You have experience working closely with engineers through the software development lifecycle. Product Management Experience – Proven success in managing Salesforce products or similar CRM platforms, including roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and user adoption strategies. Expected annual base salary range:
$125,000 - $185,000 Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables. Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
