Duties and Responsibilities: Represent employers in employment law matters, including litigation and advice and counseling. Handle cases involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful discharge. Provide guidance on wage and hour law issues and manage class action cases. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements. Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal analyses. Advise clients on compliance with employment laws and regulations. Develop strategies for resolving disputes and preventing litigation. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials. Manage caseload efficiently, including tracking deadlines and maintaining case files. Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure effective representation. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the California Bar. 3+ years of experience representing employers in employment law matters, with at least 2 years specific to California. Strong background in discrimination, retaliation, harassment law, and wrongful discharge actions. Familiarity with wage and hour law and class action litigation. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Admission to the California Bar. Skills: Excellent writing, drafting, and communication skills.
