Position Overview

Directly responsible for the customers interest, the CSR addresses the needs, inquiries, and requests, on an inside sales and customer service level, for customers within an assigned territory and on an as-needed basis for other territories.

 

Primary Job Functions

· Prepares, processes, and routes all incoming and outgoing quotes in accordance with customer deadlines.

· Process customer purchase orders per Risk Analysis (per AS9100) and enter orders to ERP system and clearly translate quality clause provisions, particular customer concerns, delivery requirements, and other specifics as may be detailed within the purchase order contract.

· Maintains open, closed, and archived customer orders and quotes.

· Maintains ERP customer database.

· Routinely processes purchase order follow-ups, weekly status reports, work order changes, delivery expedites and trouble-shoots problematic purchase orders.

· Performs liaison activities between the customer, engineering, inspection, accounting, and shipping personnel.

 

Secondary Job Functions

  • Processes and routes all mail and incoming faxes.
  • Assists accounting department with collections and miscellaneous accounting issues.
  • Covers reception area on an as-needed basis.
  • Occasionally relieves officials of clerical work and minor administrative details.
  • Participate in team meetings/projects.
  • Participate in 6S activities & Continuous Improvements activities.
  • Participate in internal auditing system as required by quality management system.

 

Other Skills / Abilities

Preferred:
