Nexeo Staffing is hiring: Jetway Equipment Operators in Salt Lake City

Nexeo HR is seeking skilled Jetway Equipment Operators to assist with maintaining and repairing jet bridges. If you have experience operating scissor lifts, using hand tools, and working with power equipment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Work in a fast-paced, engaging environment that values precision and teamwork. Candidates must be able to pass a federal background check and complete fingerprinting to meet airport security standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage scissor lifts, hand tools, and power tools to maintain and repair jet bridges.

• Review work orders to perform tasks accurately according to project specifications.

• Assemble parts and products based on detailed drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

• Ensure proper stock levels by verifying inventory and picking necessary parts for tasks.

• Follow quality policies and procedures to maintain high work standards.

• Adjust, calibrate, and maintain tools for optimal performance and efficiency.

• Support the team by stepping into other classified positions as necessary skills are developed.

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines.

Qualifications

• MUST have scissor lift operation experience and be skilled in the use of hand tools and power saws.

• Experience working in maintenance, assembly, or related industrial roles preferred.

• Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Strong attention to detail when following work orders, safety guidelines, and procedures.

• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.

• Must pass a Federal Background Check and complete fingerprinting for airport security clearance.

• Willingness to work nights as needed.

Pay

$19.81 Per Hour

Schedule

Day Shift | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday - Friday | Nights as Needed

*60-90 Day Project.
