Machine Operator Job at Crown Staffing - Kansas City in Kansas City

Crown Staffing is looking for Blow Molding and Injection Molding Machine Operators for a Plastic manufacturing company in Kansas City, MO. This is a Monday- Saturday position with all shifts available.

The Machine Operator is responsible for the maintenance and repair of our manufacturing equipment. The Machine Operator will be responsible for the following:

• Running the machines

• Inspect machines to ensure that production lines are running properly

• Change parts on machines as needed

• Monitor machine to ensure it is running properly

• Clean machine as needed

• Report any maintenance issues to Maintenance Supervisor

• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that machine is running properly

• Assist in inventory of parts and equipment

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.

• Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Additional Information: This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The noise level in the work environment may be reduced as necessary on occasion due to emergency situations. This position may require frequent use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses or face mask, depending on the task at hand. Some of the more commonly required tasks include but are not limited to: lifting, pushing, pulling up to 100 lbs., bending over head, standing walking crouching crouching for long periods of time at a rapid pace, climbing stairs, working with your hands around hot equipment such as boilers.
