Job Description Role: ETL Developer Work location: New Jersey Interview: Phone/Skype Job Type: Contract Request ID: Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Seeking an experienced ETL developer with strong database skills, Big Data Technologies and Cloud platforms experience. Profile: 5 years of Developement experience Designs, develops, and implements Java web services to support business requirements. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and document processes. Develops basic and detailed program specifications. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, and modifies computer programs of high complexity, significance, and risk Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Contribute to the Design and develop high quality software for large scale Java distributed systems Perform unit and system testing of application code as well as execution of implementation activities. Analyze business requirements, and create technical design documents that are in accordance with the company's architecture standards. Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved. Performs and/or leads design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solution. Demonstrates strong understanding of the business needs driving the projects. Prior experience of handling production incident for large scale systems. Ability to understand the large scale systems, understand the infrastructure architecture - route the traffic to handle an outage. Must be proficient in any facet of the devops system - like monitoring tools, alert systems, logging framework, deployment pipeline. Play devops, not just developer. Database Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.) Experience with relational databases (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases Knowledge of data modeling and normalization techniques ETL Tools: Expertise in ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter, Talend, SSIS, or Apache Airflow Familiarity with data integration concepts, data warehousing, and data marts Programming Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell scripting) Knowledge of Java or .NET for complex ETL processes Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, including data services like AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or GCP Dataflow Big Data Technologies: Understanding of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka Data Analysis and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into technical solutions Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Qualifications Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
