Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished professional with a deep expertise in SAP implementation. As a proven project manager, SAP is your passion, and you pride yourself on being the go-to Subject Matter Expert. If ERP solutions excite you and you are dedicated to ensuring end-user success, this opportunity is tailor-made for you. Reporting to the Director of ERP Systems Implementation, you'll be the driving force behind the leadership and direction of major business system implementations. Whether it's spearheading small capital projects, enhancing existing systems, or overseeing critical maintenance, you'll play a pivotal role. Your expertise will shine as you work primarily with the SAP system, along with their associated interface systems. By providing strategic insights and solutions, you'll empower management to steer the business towards a continuous competitive edge.
This position is pivotal for providing project leadership, as you'll be responsible for planning and overseeing the development of information business system applications. Your goal will be to ensure timely implementation while staying within the project budget, ensuring successful and efficient delivery.
Responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of new and changing technologies, new hardware, new software, and systems techniques that provide the most competitive business tools that support the Ingersoll Rand business strategies by attending seminars, vendor conferences, trade shows, and education sessions, use of the Internet, and on-site desktop educational courses.
Project Management, adhering to project audit requirements, performing in a waterfall/agile environment.
Preparation of Business requirements, business costs, and business benefits to be presented to management and IT for final costing/benefits. A final presentation could be required to executive staff for authorization to receive approved capital and expense funds.
Provide management guidance with on-going day-to-day problem resolution, supporting the business team with priorities and communication to end users.
Developing Super User education material, training videos, which leads to a strong business team to support the ITSA organization (SAP ECC and/or Oracle 11/R12 processes).
Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of six years' experience in SAP business system analysis, design, configuration, and project management or in an area that provides in depth business knowledge.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with multiple SAP implementations
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to work with multiple sites & nationalities.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Remote based
Travel up to 15% or as needed
US Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident
Key Competencies
Experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully leading more than five, recent end-to-end SAP implementations, from inception to go-live.
Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects and assignments with detail.
Able to work and deliver effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and forward-looking problem-solving skills.
Strong facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability in being decisive while still being flexible and open to input.
