Shift:

Weekends F-Sun 5:45am-6pm

The machine operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in manufacturing processes. The role involves ensuring that machinery runs smoothly, performing quality checks, and adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Setup and Operation: Set up machinery for production runs according to specifications. Operate machines to perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, finishing, or assembling materials.
Quality Control: Monitor production processes and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Make adjustments as necessary.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns. Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues.
Documentation: Maintain accurate production logs, recording machine performance, production quantities, and any defects or issues encountered.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and quality assurance personnel to ensure efficient production workflows.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or relevant certifications preferred.
Experience: Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
Technical Skills: Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and production specifications. Proficiency in operating machinery.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to maintain quality standards.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs.
Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and work in a fast-paced environment.
