THE OPPORTUNITY: This key position will be responsible for capturing, translating and documenting user stories, technical use cases and other requirements for critical Technology platforms supporting revenue and back-office activities. Candidates will need significant experience in the product management and business analysis of hi-volume consumer-oriented SaaS platforms, mobile applications, analytical solutions, and supporting IaaS-based infrastructure. Exposure to Application Service Providing [ASP] businesses is beneficial. As a team member, he/she will help identify tools, processes and methodologies that will assist the company with effective project implementation and execution. The role will require self-initiative in a high-paced start-up environment and must collaborate within a scrum framework with product owners, graphic and UX designers, engineers and key business leadership. Business Analysts are required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail. JOB FUNCTIONS: • Capture, document and maintain business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques including but not limited to conducting user story development sessions, interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, use cases, scenarios, business process, task and workflow analysis • Liaise with critical product owners, business subject matter experts, and a team of technical specialists, such as SW Engineers, DBAs, Data Engineers, System Administrators and Infrastructure Engineers. • Analyze and evaluate data gathered from multiple sources and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs. Review use cases and other documents with technology and the business to ensure all requirements are adequately reflected. • Co-ordinate with SCRUM Master and Senior Technology Leadership regarding priorities. Contribute to SCRUM deliverables and metric development in co-ordination with the SCRUM Master. Assist in roll-out strategy as an active participant in user acceptance testing, user training and post-production support as needed. • Ensure all product documents (design, process diagrams, operational run-books, recovery manuals, etc.) are completed. Conduct reviews and walk-throughs for deliverables. • Ensure that all commercial requirements are met to customer expectation • Ensure sustainable, repeatable, high quality results PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: Demonstration of the Ceras Leadership Principles: Customer Centricity Leaders see the world from the customer point of view and work backwards. EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE: BA or BS (or equivalent) in Computer Science. 5 or more years of experience delivering and supporting commercially available technology solutions. Strong technical aptitude is required. Proven Business Analyst experience and demonstrated ability to support multiple projects of a complex nature. Experience with a combination of the following: revenue-generating SaaS platforms, public-facing enterprise corporate websites, content management solutions, intranet sites, IS solutions supporting CRM and other back-office needs. 5 or more years of industry experience using Agile Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) - such as SCRUM. 3-5 Years of experience developing User Stories, Technical Use Cases, Supplemental Requirements, Process Flows and Data Specifications. Translated business and data needs into functional business requirements. Previous experience in healthcare industry is preferred. Familiarity with Lean Product Management Lifecycles is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Experience communicating with internal personnel, partners and customers. Strong negotiation skills. Excellent time management skills. Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to learn rapidly on-the-job. Must analyze complex problems and develop recommendations with attention to detail. Effective in self-motivated and self-directed team environments. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project, Visio, JIRA and industry standard project management and agile software packages. DESIRED: SCRUM Master Training & Certification PMP/PMI Training & Certification Training in Lean Product Management Knowledge of Micro-Service Architecture frameworks, components, design and planning skills.
