We are searching for a<b> PCS Supervisor</b> to support the organizations mission. This position involves overseeing patient flow and services in the hospital, while also taking on the role of <b>Administrator of the Day (AOD)</b> when on duty. The PCS Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring coordination of care across departments and maintaining communication during patient hand-offs. This position offers a leadership opportunity to guide hospital staff and manage patient care processes.<br /></p><div><br /></div><div><b>Responsibilities</b><b>:</b><br /></div><li>Act as <b>Administrator of the Day (AOD)</b> during shifts, managing administrative decisions and ensuring smooth operations in the absence of the Hospital Administrator.<br /></li><li>Oversee the coordination of patient flow and services throughout the hospital, working collaboratively with healthcare teams.<br /></li><li>Monitor the implementation of bed management plans, strategies for services beyond capacity, and ensure proper coordination of care.<br /></li><li>Ensure effective communication during hand-offs between care settings to maintain continuity of care.<br /></li><li>Provide supervision and leadership to hospital staff on duty, ensuring quality care and addressing operational issues.<br /></li><li>Participate in clinical assessments as needed and facilitate patient hand-offs.<br /></li><li>Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives and assist with the strategic improvement processes as assigned.<br /></li><li>Report administrative decisions and incidents to the appropriate hospital administrators.<br /></li><div><b>​</b><br /></div></span><br /><span id="spanreq"><h3>Requirements</h3><h4>Qualifications:<br /></h4><li><b>Experience:</b><ul><li>At least three years of experience in direct patient care required.<br /></li><li>One year of experience as a Charge Nurse preferred.<br /></li><li>Supervisory or management experience is preferred.<br /></li></ul></li><li><b>Education:</b><ul><li><b>BSN</b> preferred.<br /></li></ul></li><li><b>Licensure/Certification/Registry:</b><ul><li>Active <b>RN License</b> in the state of Montana.<br /></li><li><b>BLS</b> certification required.<br /></li></ul></li><div><br /></div></span><br />PandoLogic.
