Position: Perm - Coding Educator - Hospital Inpatient
Position Information: Perm/Remote
Salary range: $55,078.40 - $72,976.80 - $90,875.20 Annual
Must have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Please include required certs.
- 3 years inpatient coding experience with RHIT/RHIA
- 3 years inpatient coding trainer, educator, auditor, or manager experience
- looking for strong Acute Inpatient Coding experience.
- Experience educating a coding team/department and provided presentations.
Unit Guidelines/Policies:
- Attendance and Flextime policy
- Coding Telecommuting policy

- Annual dues are paid
- Equipment provided
- Provide enough CEs to fulfill credential requirements
- Flexible schedule allowed (see flex policy attached)
- Offer a coding career ladder with opportunities for coding and leadership within the HIM and Coding Departments
- Flexibility to live within 15 approved states: South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Wisconsin, Louisiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois.
- Utilize 3M Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) software
