Pride Health is hiring: Phlebotomist in West Bend

Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility in West Bend, WI. This is a contractual opportunity with the possibility of an extension, and it is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!  

Job Duties:

• Performs venipuncture collections accurately and efficiently according to laboratory protocols.
• Performs capillary collections accurately and efficiently according to laboratory protocols. 
• Obtains blood specimens via indwelling lines following universal safety precautions. 
• performs limited CLIA-waived testing according to laboratory protocols as defined by site assignment.  
• Performs entry and/or release of laboratory orders. Follows site-specific EPIC procedures for registration and/or patient check-in.
• Recognizes specimen requirements and performs specimen collection and handling by verbal and/or written instructions.

Job Requirements:

1. Must have In-Patient experience.  Must have high-volume blood draw experience.preferred an ASCP certification.
2. A High School diploma or equivalent is required·
3. Graduate of an approved phlebotomy training program or an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

Shifts: Day Shift
Weekly Gross Range: $920 - $1020
