Job Description
Now hiring for Accounting /HR Generalist. Full-time salaried position with benefits, Monday-Friday, 1st shift.
We are a privately-owned commercial printer with a 50/50 mix of office and factory workers. Our workplace culture is relaxed and friendly, with respect for every person and every position. We are seeking an experienced HR professional who enjoys helping people.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Payroll/Benefits with a working knowledge of Bookkeeping/Accounting.
Accounting Responsibilities Include:
· Accounts Payable – evaluate and enter invoices, pay bills
· Accounts Receivable – contact customers for payments
· Job Billing – enter and proofread invoices to customers
· Prepare daily bank deposits
· Assist other members of the team as needed
HR Responsibilities Include:
· Process bi-weekly payroll
· Maintain employee records with complete confidentiality
· Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees
· Assist employees with benefits enrollment and ongoing questions
· Address safety concerns and workplace accidents. Prepare and file reports and related paperwork.
· Aid managers in employee reviews and in disciplinary actions, including terminations
· Coordinate employee appreciation events and opportunities
Experience and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
· Previous experience in an HR role is a huge plus!
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, calm demeanor
· The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment
This is a full-time position, eligible for all benefits, including: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and PTO.
We offer a one-time signing bonus of $500 after you complete your first 90 days of employment.
Pay is based on experience.
