Responsibilities:

The Recovery Claim assistant is responsible for, but not limited to, providing administrative assistance and support to the Management Team and Subrogation Department. Some of the tasks will include new referral/triage assignments, vendor support, and providing back-up to the Department as a whole.

Responsibilities:
Provide vendor assistance, including obtaining additional investigation to pursue recoveries
Completing and returning of notarized Affidavits, interrogatories releases and other legal documents
Review and issue payments for court filings, legal expenses and deductibles
Setting subrogation reserves involving collection vendors.
Maintain and Manage activities and closure of vendor claims
Review and assignment of new claims
Provide back-up support to the Department

Qualifications:

Knowledge of bodily injury and property damage claims
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to keep pace with a high volume of work
Proficient with Adobe. Word, Excel and Outlook

Education Requirement:

High school diploma, bachelors degree preferred
Two years of experience working in claims department setting or subrogation handling experience
