Our client, an established, family-owned roof construction company, is growing and looking to add a new Roofing Foreman to their team. In this role, you will oversee roofing projects from start to finish.
The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of proper installation of all types of siding, steep and low-slope roofing systems ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves supervising teams of roofing subcontractor crews and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
The base salary range is targeted in the $60,000s.
Key Responsibilities
•Under limited supervision performing multiple duties related to the management and oversight of the day-to-day field operations of any given construction project, by communicating project milestones and timeline for completion with Project Management Team, Owners, Subcontractors, Architects, Engineers and Office Staff in an efficient manner.
•Supervise teams of independent roofing and siding contractors, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
•Conduct regular site meetings to communicate project progress and address any issues.
•Monitor work performance to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
•Conduct inspections, safety training sessions and quality assessments at various stages of the project.
•Assist in estimating project costs and managing budgets effectively
•Track project expenses and report on financial status to management.
•Identify and resolve issues that arise during the construction process, coordinating with relevant parties as necessary.
•Implement corrective actions as needed to mitigate risks and delays.
Requirements
•High school diploma or equivalent; further education in construction management or a related field is a plus.
•Proven experience as a roofing foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
•Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety standards.
•Experience with the installation and removal of various types of roofing, including low sloped roof systems (TPO, BUR, modified bitumen, and EPDM)
•Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
•Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
