Responsibilities: Work under general direction, adhering to established standards, templates, and stencils, to develop hardware and software designs for HVAC control systems that align with project requirements. Utilize specialized construction bid software to engineer and produce comprehensive submittals for customers and contractors. This includes creating wiring diagrams, flow charts, sequences, bill of materials, product data sheets, and schedules to effectively convey system design, installation procedures, and operational requirements.Duties: Design control systems based upon a standard design library for flow diagrams, sequence of operations, BOMs, network layouts and electrical schematics as required by contracts. Coordinate the creation of required drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation. Select product components and develop necessary stencils to ensure accurate system design. Execute all designs and projects promptly, adhering to project schedules and budget constraints. Engage in pre-design and routine meetings, keeping the project field team updated on progress. Implement value engineering strategies to achieve cost-effective outcomes without compromising customer satisfaction. Gather field changes from the project team and creates as-built drawings when required. Prepare required documentation and/or manuals for system operation. Keen project management skills; communication job progress and issues with customer in a professional and timely manner. Thorough coordination and communication with stakeholders of multiple technical projects simultaneously.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Minimum of five (5) years of experience the following: HVAC controls with working knowledge of control theory Temperature controls Building automation systems and subsystems.
