Lead Electrical Engineer

A leading energy client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team in the power industry. The Senior Electrical Engineer will execute and lead technical work on EPC projects for the electrical discipline. You will collaborate with an integrated EPC team along with clients to execute and provide world class, quality focused deliverables for the construction team.
Position Responsibilities:
-Execute electrical technical design for projects; may serve as engineer of record.
-Perform or review routine and complex electrical engineering tasks using current technology, standards, software, templates, and products.
-Prepare/review load lists, power system studies, single lines, equipment layouts, area classifications, sizing calculations, schematics, equipment specifications, data sheets, requisitions, and technical bid analyses.
-Collaborate with the integrated EPC team and clients on RFIs, deliverable reviews, change order requests, and engineering equipment buyouts.
-Review vendor documents to ensure compliance with specifications and data sheet requirements.
-Seek ways to improve customer satisfaction, work quality, and operational efficiency.
-Lead quality checks of project design and engineering to ensure accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
-5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, Substation Engineer, or Application Engineer
