Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-sale activities, including customer visits, opportunity evaluations, machine assessments, and turnkey proposals.
- Develop manufacturing processes by creating machine cutting programs, selecting tooling and fixtures, and meeting schedule, cycle time, and quality requirements.
- Provide technical support to distributors and key customers, including programming, process advice, and training.
- Design and execute cutting demos, focusing on new technologies and products.
- Develop and deliver content for scheduled programming classes to both internal and external customers.
- Support the sales cycle by performing customer visits, product demonstrations, and time studies.
- Communicate project updates with internal sales teams and customers.
- Provide training and coaching on advanced manufacturing concepts and the full product line.
- Support technical tasks related to special events, open houses, and trade shows as needed.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Fanuc controls.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including tool & die, low-volume job shops, or high-volume production.
- 5+ years of experience in G&M code programming for multi-task turning centers, 5-axis machining, and CNC process engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with project management tools (Gantt charts, action plans) and lean manufacturing concepts.
- Associate degree in a skilled trade related to machine tool technology or equivalent experience (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience with Mastercam, Esprit, or Hyper Mill.
- 5+ years of experience in manual G-code programming and 5-axis programming.
- Experience with Doosan product lines such as SMX and DVF.
