A distinguished law firm in Burlingame, California is seeking a dedicated Senior Litigation Attorney to join a highly respected legal team specializing in complex civil litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases, manage all stages of litigation, and collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys in a dynamic and supportive environment. Salary Range: $180,000k base

Senior Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of 10-15 cases, working collaboratively with 2-3 attorneys per case
  • Oversee cases from inception to trial, including trial preparation and courtroom representation
  • Conduct depositions, mediations, discovery, and legal research using systems like Lexis Nexis and Westlaw
  • Draft and review briefs, motions, and other litigation documents with a high degree of precision
  • Collaborate with colleagues on high-profile cases in practice areas such as antitrust, securities, and elder abuse/business litigation
  • Maintain accurate billing records
  • Navigate complex legal strategies against top-tier opposing counsel, ensuring high professional standards
Senior Litigation Attorney Requirements:
  • J.D. and admission to the California State Bar (required)
  • Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience with courtroom and deposition exposure
  • Strong legal writing skills and experience drafting briefs and motions
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • A driven professional with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to case management
  • Commitment to an on-site working model (candidates seeking hybrid/remote options will not be considered)
