As an R&D Scientist, you’ll play a pivotal role in our lab’s relocation from Framingham, MA, to Louisville, KY. This is your chance to make a mark and grow—let’s create something extraordinary together Responsibilities: Conduct laboratory experiments and wet bench work under R&D Manager's guidance. Assist in developing, optimizing, and validating NGS workflows (DNA/RNA prep, scRNA-Seq, Spatial Transcriptomics, RNA-Seq). Prepare and analyze samples using PCR, sequencing, and genomic assays. Maintain detailed records of experiments, including protocols and results. Collaborate with R&D team to troubleshoot technical issues. Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of lab equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards. Contribute to reports, research papers, and presentations. Participate in team meetings, sharing updates and insights. Comply with regulatory and quality standards in the lab. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, genetics, life sciences, or related field. Basic lab experience with nucleic acid extraction and NGS workflows. Preferred: 2 years of research experience in molecular biology. Knowledge of NGS technologies and applications. Expertise in NGS wet bench workflows (sample prep, library prep, sequencing). Experience with molecular data analysis and bioinformatics (Python, R, Linux). Familiarity with histology techniques (tissue handling, sectioning) a plus. Strong technical writing and research publication skills. Flexibility for extended on-site training in Framingham, MA. Core Competencies: Experience with NGS library prep workflows. Familiarity with sequencing technologies (Illumina, PacBio, Oxford Nanopore). Proficient in molecular biology techniques. Strong organizational, record-keeping, and analytical skills. M3
