The ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery department at Children's Minnesota is seeking 2 dynamic Advanced Practice Providers to join their growing practice of 9 physicians and 9 APPs.
This unique role offers a balanced mix of 50% specialty ambulatory care and 50% inpatient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in both ambulatory and inpatient settings in our St. Paul and Woodbury locations.
Department Overview
The ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery department at Children's Minnesota provides the full range of ENT and facial plastic reconstructive surgery services, including complex head and neck procedures, endoscopic and open airway surgery, complex ear disease and cochlear implantation, and cleft and craniofacial surgery. We are supported by advanced imaging including interventional radiology, expert pediatric audiology, and a team of experienced Advanced Practice Providers. Our team serves key roles in many multidisciplinary teams such as thyroid, fetal, aerodigestive, cleft and craniofacial, and 22q11 deletion clinics, and is very active in the neonatal, pediatric, and cardiovascular ICUs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and education for primary ENT diagnoses. * Function independently with individual patient panel, gradually increasing your daily volume to a target of 20 patient appointments per day. * Monday - Friday schedule, no call, no weekends * Rotating weekly schedule: Inpatient, Monday - Friday, 6:30a - 3p / Clinic, 4 day/10hr work week

Education / License / Certification:
* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program. Physician Assistant Certification by the NCCPA Certification Board and MN Medical Board license required. * APRN: Current MN RN/APRN License. Nationally Board Certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with either the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) * BLS
Experience: Current/previous experience in pediatrics as a nurse, nurse practitioner or PA preferred.
