Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Lead Java Developer to join our full-stack team. This role involves providing expert-level IT technical leadership, including the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies. You will ensure the successful delivery of IT solutions, guide technical decisions, and mentor team members while maintaining high standards in system architecture, design, and development.
Key Responsibilities
•Provide technical expertise in complex development, design, architecture, and implementation activities.
•Ensure the viability of IT deliverables and approve the team's technical solutions.
•Conduct and oversee testing, including functionality, technical limitations, and security.
•Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues promptly.
•Communicate project issues and impacts with stakeholders.
•Evaluate change requests and their impact on technology, influencing decisions effectively.
•Maintain a strong understanding of IT development methodologies, architecture design, and technical standards.
•Mentor team members and ensure adherence to new technical standards.
•Review and approve documentation and technical diagrams.
•Identify opportunities for quality improvement and continuous modernization.
•Participate in design, code, and test inspections, as well as technical consulting in project meetings.
•Present technical statuses and issues during milestone reviews.
Required Qualifications
•Minimum 8 years of related work experience, with at least 3 years in full-stack development.
•Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Angular, Node.js, GraphQL, and AWS.
•Experience with UI, services, testing, and monitoring in end-to-end development.
•Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular.
•Familiarity with AWS cloud services, including Apache and Tomcat web servers.
•Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, Bamboo).
•Growth mindset with an interest in modernizing technology.
•Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience working with third-party vendors.
•Prior experience modernizing UI and data applications.
