RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
- Continuously practice good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership.
- Take ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offer viable solutions.
- Take action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
- Operate all equipment, software, and devices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Stay current with web-based training and best practices.
- Empathize and manage demanding, impatient, and/or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experience.
- Package shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and properly cushioning contents.
- Take ownership of customers' packing, shipping, and/or print problems and offer viable solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math.
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible.
- Able to lift 40+ pounds.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
