Hillside Boutique Hotel is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Dishwasher to support our banquet operations. This role ensures the cleanliness of kitchenware, banquet dishes, and food preparation areas, contributing to seamless events and exceptional guest experiences. Where You Can Make an Impact
  • Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment used during banquets.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all banquet kitchen and dishwashing areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of dish stations during banquet events.
  • Ensure banquet service items, including chafing dishes, platters, and utensils, are cleaned, polished, and ready for use.
  • Safely dispose of trash and recyclables, ensuring the kitchen and dish area are organized and hygienic.
  • Support banquet staff by restocking cleaned kitchenware and service items promptly.
  • Perform routine deep cleaning of dishwashing machines, sinks, and storage areas.
  • Assist with light food preparation or additional banquet setup tasks as needed.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.


Requirements

Education/Formal Training:
  • No formal education required; high school diploma or equivalent is a plus.

Experience:
  • Prior experience in a kitchen or banquet environment preferred but not required.

Knowledge/Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand, lift, and carry items for extended periods.
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on banquet schedules.
