Job Description
We are offering a contract to hire position as an Accounting Specialist for a well-established company in the upstate that is growing! As an Accounting Specialist, you will be involved in various accounting functions, handling accounts payable and receivable, working in multiple software systems and working closely with supply chain.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with both accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices
• Utilize QuickBooks for efficient accounting functions
• Regularly use Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Process and manage purchase orders to ensure smooth business operations
• Execute purchasing functions, maintaining the balance between cost-effectiveness and quality
• Assist with Inventory forecasting based on market trends and business needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all transactions
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies in accounts or purchase orders
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions for any irregularities or issues
