Perform month-end closing procedures, bank and merchant account reconciliations, reconcile intercompany accounts. Maintain all accounting related databases to ensure accuracy and timely availability of information. Calendar of Due Dates: Manage a calendar of due dates for tax filings, estimated payments, business licenses and other filings, including regulatory agencies so as not to miss renewals, payments, and filings as required by the various agencies and to prepare for cash requirements associated with the various filings. Process Improvements: Provide suggestions and recommendations for process improvement, implementation of procedures and controls to protect the assets of the Company. qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, 7 + years of experience in a middle-market company, top-notch verbal and written communication skills, familiarity with QuickBooks, and possess the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
