Location: Dorchester, MA

Position Type: Full time - Regular

Schedule: Sun-Wed 11pm-9am

Salary: $22.00 / hour

Sign on Bonus: $2,000 ($666 upon completion of 30 days, $667 upon completion of 6 months, $667 upon completion of 9 months)

As an ACCS Awake Overnight Residential Counselor in a Residential Group Living Environment (GLE), you will provide direct support to people with psychiatric conditions in a residential setting designed to assist in fostering independence. ACCS Awake Overnight Residential Counselors are vital to ensuring that Persons Served are able to receive quality services regardless of the time of day. In your role, you will work together with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to transform their lives by building independence skills or increasing each person's quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP).
  • Implement treatment plans.
  • Assist people with activities of daily living.
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the program.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree in a human services related discipline is preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a human services setting is strongly preferred.
  • Preference given to bilingual/bicultural applicants and applicants with lived experience of psychiatric conditions.

All candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age, have held a valid US driver's license for at least 6 months, and be able to pass a CORI, driving record, employment reference check, and a multi-state background check. Additionally, all candidates must be able to become CPR and First Aid certified within two weeks of hire and become MAP certified within 150 days of hire.
