AccountStaff is currently looking for a Staff Accountant to assist with the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards for a smaller manufacturing company in Hatfield, PA

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing, maintaining and ensuring accuracy of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Cost Accounting
• Assist with preparation of the monthly financial reporting packages
• Coordinate with various finance teams to gather necessary financial information and ensure consistency in reporting
• Support external and internal audit activities by providing requested documentation and explanations
• Prepare month-end journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing company
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and standard cost accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
