Job Description

This is a part-time, temporary/seasonal position. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to establish an applicant pool. As vacancies occur, they are filled from the pool.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • College or trade school welding classes
  • At least one year of industry experience in welding or a related field
  • An understanding of the welding certification process

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support of classroom and lab activities
  • Processing of materials
  • Welding equipment maintenance and set-up
  • Equipment and tool safety
  • Heavy equipment safety
  • Ability to get along with faculty, TA's, and students
