Job Description
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Strategy, Planning, and Performance within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team, this role will lead and support the strategic planning, execution, and mobilization efforts that drive Global Technology’s key priorities. The Manager, Strategy & Planning will deliver high-impact business analysis, strategy development, and actionable recommendations, advancing the value of technology across McDonald’s.
As an individual contributor, you will contribute to high-priority, complex projects and annual planning rhythms that require significant functional integration and adherence to quality and timeline expectations. This role is pivotal in defining, executing, and refining the annual planning process, while also managing long-range planning deliverables for high-visibility programs and providing executive-level communication and insights as needed.
Responsibilities:
Manage special projects that standardize and optimize existing processes, assets and deliverables, and emphasize strategic planning and operational improvements for efficiency and growth.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Global Technology and McDonald’s to support functional analyses and drive cross-functional partnerships.
Manage the strategic planning process for Global Technology, focusing on executing and aligning key initiatives with McDonald’s organizational goals.
Drive alignment across Global Technology to meet McDonald’s Operating Model objectives, enhancing team cohesion and consistency.
Develop executive communications, including presentations and memorandums, in partnership with the Strategic Communication team.
Design and implement governance processes that enhance accountability and alignment with strategic objectives.
Conduct market research and gather competitive intelligence to identify strategic opportunities and inform decision-making; and identify best-in-class tools, templates, and organizational practices.

The expected salary range for this role is $112,860 - $143,900per year

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, strategy, data analytics, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a relevant area
6+ years of experience in consulting, operations research, strategy, or cross-functional program management.
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and peers without direct authority.
Experience managing cross-functional projects with global stakeholders.
Strong skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation, with effective verbal and written communication.
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities.
