Job Title: ServiceNow Architect
Location:
Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, Farmers Branch, TX, Phoenix AZ Hybrid (3 days a week in office) Duration: 03 Months Contract to Hire Only on W2 Job description: Industry background: Banking, Financial preferred Team Dynamic: The selected candidate will report to Hiring Manager. This position will build a new Service Now platform. The candidate will be placed with a workstream crew (IT management or service/asset). The teams will have to define integrations and configurations. Roles and Responsibilities: ServiceNow Architects are hands on designing business architecture, delivering technical roadmaps, application blueprints, data models and system overlays for business processes, decomposing business requirements against technical standards, current technical gaps and possible application modules needed, conducting risk assessments, governance processes and issue resolution in business architecture. We expect our architects to have deep knowledge in ServiceNow applications, out-of-the-box configurations, business rules, and data tables, impacts of plugin and store app installations, and technical leadership for integration, testing, and operations of their assigned platform workstream (e.g. ITOM, SACM, CSDM, Employee Experience, etc.). Must Have Technical Skills: 1. Service Now -- Common Services data model and Employee Center Pro 2. Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture -- firewalls, web apps, API integration Flex Skills/Nice to Have: 1. Technical governance board (configuration over customization) and Demand Board (prioritized work being requested) Soft Skills: 1. Communication Skills -- strong verbal and written 2. Presentation Skills -- be able to understand their role and communicate the data in the context of the program as a whole Education: Bachelors required (some type of technology degree preferred); Service Now certification is a strong preference Years of experience: 5-7 years Role Differentiator: This whole transformation is part of a bigger program called Orange Rocket. We are at the ground phase of this modernization and it will rely heavily on the Service Now platform. This is a multi-year program that will extend through 2026 with Orange Rocket extending even longer. This initiative will build the new business team that will be around for the future.
