Sr. Specialist - Strategic Sourcing (Data Center) - What this job involves This role focuses on managing key supplier relationships, developing and implementing demand management strategies, negotiating commercial agreements with suppliers, and driving continuous improvement in cost, quality, and service for data center operations. Key Responsibilities: Demand Management
Align on asset inventory collection templates with original equipment manufacturer(s) and spear-head data collection efforts across internal teams and JLL clients. Centralize demand across JLL clients in various spend categories and regions. Partner to develop a “demand story” for each OEM to leverage in discussions with OEMs.
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key data center categories. Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers. Lead the supplier selection process, ensuring alignment with data center operational requirements. Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing initiatives.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Monitor supplier performance using KPIs specific to data center operations. Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to address performance issues. Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation in data center technologies.
Contract Management:
Negotiate and manage contracts with data center suppliers. Work closely with the legal team to ensure contracts are aligned with company policies. Monitor contract performance and manage renewals as necessary.
Cost Management & Optimization:
Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities in data center operations. Conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis. Collaborate with finance and data center operations teams to track savings.
Risk Management:
Develop and implement risk management strategies. Monitor global market trends and assess their impact on supply chain risks. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies. Support new data center projects by sourcing materials in line with project timelines.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience:
9+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on supplier management in the data center industry. Skills:
Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of global supply chain trends and best practices.
Project management and business transitions experience preferred. Estimated total compensation for this position:
162,000.00 – 174,000.00 USD per year Location:
