Torrance, CA (Open to one (1) day remote after probationary period) Job Summary: The Law Firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our personal injury litigation team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience and be comfortable managing a caseload of 30-40 cases from filing through trial. While trial experience is not required, it is highly desired. This role requires full-time presence in our Torrance office, with the option of one remote workday per week after the probationary period. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of 30-40 personal injury cases, acting as the lead attorney through all aspects of litigation, from filing to trial. Develop case strategies and legal theories to maximize case outcomes. Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for cases. Take and defend depositions, including those of plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses. Engage in settlement negotiations on behalf of clients. Serve as second chair during trials when necessary. Maintain regular client communication to provide updates on case progress and answer any questions. Oversee and direct paralegals and other support staff to ensure efficient case management. Qualifications: Minimum of three years' experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active member of the California State Bar, in good standing. Proven track record of managing a high-volume caseload and achieving successful outcomes in personal injury cases. Strong legal research and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships with a client-focused approach. High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
