Position Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving the financial strategy, operational oversight, and long-term growth of the company. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to ensure financial health, manage risks, and capitalize on business opportunities. The CFO leads all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, multi-entity reporting, capital management, and acquisition integration. In addition to overseeing the finance and accounting teams, the CFO collaborates with the CEO, board members, and external stakeholders to align financial objectives with the company's business strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex financial environments across multiple entities, driving operational efficiencies, raising capital, and navigating acquisitions. This role requires a strong leader and communicator who can inspire teams, identify growth opportunities, and build sustainable financial processes that support rapid expansion. Primary Job Roles

Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives in collaboration with the CEO and executive team. Provide financial forecasts, budgets, and 13-month rolling projections to guide decision-making and support growth initiatives. Drive profitability improvements, cost optimization, and identify new revenue streams. Manage budgeting, reporting, and forecasting across all business entities, ensuring multi-entity consolidation is accurate and timely. Oversee monthly close processes with strict timelines and adherence to GAAP and internal controls. Lead ERP system implementation and ensure alignment across financial operations, including onboarding of new entities. Conduct financial due diligence for acquisitions and develop integration strategies for seamless onboarding. Manage post-acquisition reporting and ensure alignment with the company's broader operational and financial strategy. Collaborate with senior leaders to identify acquisition targets that align with growth plans. Proactively identify and manage financial risks to ensure business continuity. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and federal, state, and local laws across all entities. Oversee internal controls and audits, safeguarding assets and ensuring seamless compliance with regulatory bodies. Oversee treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, and capital planning to maintain liquidity. Build and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure capital and manage financing needs. Develop and execute strategies for debt management, investment planning, and capital allocation. Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, promoting continuous learning and development. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence within the finance department. Partner with other departments to align financial goals with operational objectives. Drive initiatives to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. Develop KPIs and dashboards for real-time financial tracking and performance monitoring across the organization. Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with contracts, insurance policies, and corporate governance. Skills & Abilities

Mastery in budgeting, forecasting, GAAP compliance, and multi-entity financials. Ability to align financial strategies with business goals and drive profitable growth. Proven experience leading teams, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement. Expertise in cash flow management, process optimization, and ERP implementation. Strong relationships with investors, lenders, and external partners; capital-raising experience. Data-driven decision-making and proactive risk management. Clear, concise communicator with the ability to influence at all levels. Thrives in fast-paced environments and manages change effectively. Skilled in ERP systems, financial software, and advanced Excel modeling. Qualifications

MBA in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; CPA or CFA preferred. 10+ years in senior financial leadership, ideally in multi-entity or high-growth environments. Proven expertise in acquisitions, financial reporting, and ERP system implementation. Experience managing capital strategy, treasury operations, and investor relations. Strong track record in budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement. Deep knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Proficient in ERP systems (Infor/Syteline preferred) and advanced Excel modeling. Demonstrated ability to identify risks and drive profitability and cost optimization. Compensation And Benefits
