Job Overview:

A law firm specializing in employment law is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join their Atlanta, GA office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defending and prosecuting employment-related lawsuits and providing strategic counsel to employers. Duties: Defend and litigate lawsuits involving various employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination. Represent employers in various forums, including court, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations, handling class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases. Provide proactive advice and counsel to employers on compliance with labor and employment laws and regulations. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents. Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client counseling. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. 5+ years of litigation experience with a strong emphasis on employment law. Active membership in the Georgia Bar or ability to obtain admission promptly. In-depth knowledge of state and federal court procedures and employment-related agency practices. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work product. Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, time management, and project management abilities. Dedication to professionalism, teamwork, and collegiality, while also capable of working independently on assigned projects. Education and Certifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Active membership in the Georgia Bar or eligibility for prompt admission. Skills: Proficiency in legal research and writing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex legal issues effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
