Systems Engineer Test (Integrator) for their Aurora, CO, Manhattan Beach, CA or Redondo Beach, CA locations as a part of the Systems Engineering (SE) team. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to complete tasks with little direction and oversight. They will be effective communicators and problem solvers who can develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers. This candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity. Responsibilities:
Familiarity with software baseline deployment, testing, and troubleshooting the environment, reading error logs, and coordinating corrections with the development team. Additional responsibilities include understanding test plans, test procedures, test automation, test reports, and executing integration test activities in System Integration Labs (SILs). This requisition may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below. Basic Qualifications for a Principal Systems Engineer Test (Integrator): Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Master's; 0 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Software baseline integration with test experience
Experience with AWS Cloud, Java
Current DoD Top Secret at the time of application
Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer Test (Integrator): Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Master's; 4 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Hardware integration with software experience
Experience with AWS Cloud, Java
Current DoD Top Secret at the time of application
Preferred Qualifications: Current Security+ certification
Familiar with C++ experience or willingness to work on a small team
Able to communicate effectively and present technical solutions
Salary Range:
$100,300 - $150,500 Salary Range 2:
$124,900 - $187,300 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
