What this job involves –
JLL is currently seeking a Team Lead to manage a team of move managers who can provide reliable, timely, and professional support, and assist with day-to-day move and furniture activities. The position entails working with a group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The successful candidate will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of move managers and a furniture fleet while delivering on operational efficiencies. You will interact with clients and vendors to negotiate contracts, manage project-related documentation, track move vendor RFPs, support weekly relocation planning meetings, develop scope and schedule of assigned projects, and serve as an onsite resource for relocation planning and execution events including post-move support. Your knowledge of transition and change management will speak to your ability to support your team in delivering interesting and industry-changing projects.
What is your day to day?
Lead a team delivering on multiple projects and assignments.
Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential risk surrounding project logistical issues, budget, and scope.
Coordinate and track all Vendor Request For Proposals (“RFPs”).
Create a standard delivery model for furniture delivery, implement the model, and drive efficiency.
Prepare/update project status reports, process invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financials.
Actively track each aspect of project performance against schedules and critical path.
Coordinate the activities of sub-contractors and the relocation of technical functions.
Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all Project Development Services technology, as required for assigned projects.

You will also be able to support change management activities and assist in supporting projects of varying sizes and scope including change management and relocation projects.

Education and experience
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is
preferred . Experience in the furniture industry is preferred. 5-7+ years
of relevant experience related to project, furniture, and change management. Commercial
facilities management, occupancy planning, change management, or project management experience
preferred . Tech minded The real estate and construction industries are consistently changing with technology. You’ll need to make technology work to your advantage. You must demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of project management technology tools and continually seek opportunities to develop your skillset.
