The ideal candidate should have an undergraduate degree, be analytically and qualitatively curiously inclined, and possess at least two years of relevant work experience from investment banking, management consulting, alternative asset management, or private equity. The primary responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of private equity fund due diligence, preparing investment memos and industry landscapes, creating and evaluating financial models, and supporting the on-going investment monitoring of the portfolios. Compensation for this position is competitive and includes a base salary and performance-based bonus. What You’ll Do: Originate and support sourcing initiatives for fund commitments and co-investments Create quantitative analysis and qualitative development of investment considerations and recommendations through the execution of due diligence underwriting of private equity fund commitments Evaluate and monitor the performance of private equity fund commitments and their underlying portfolio companies, including participation in private equity sponsor annual meetings Active participation in and thoughtful contribution to investment discussions, including weekly group investment meetings and portfolio construction considerations Support the Apogem platform in sourcing and underwriting investment opportunities Act as a mentor and support the development of the analysts Assist Senior Investment and Business Development Professionals in capital formation and investor reporting materials for both prospective and existing client What You’ll Bring: BA/BS/BBA required Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, and/or accounting transaction services Demonstrated interest in the investment management industry Strong problem-solving and organizational skills; must be able to effectively prioritize and multi-task Effective written and verbal communication Ability to gather, organize, and analyze data efficiently Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to take initiative Ability to work in a team-oriented culture and maintain open and frequent communication with team members Strong work ethic and attention to detail Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with computer science and data analytics preferred Willing to travel :25+% of time Salary range: Discretionary bonus eligible:
