The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the financial strategy, manage risk, and drive financial growth within the organization. This hands-on role requires expertise in IFRS standards, complex manufacturing operations, and ERP systems, with a focus on building financial processes and teams to enhance efficiency and scalability.
The CFO will provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring all practices align with company goals. They will manage financial reporting, liquidity planning, and compliance, while also fostering operational excellence through process improvements. As a leader, the CFO will mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, driving continuous improvement across all financial functions.
Role Requirements:
Knowledge & Experience
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance (CPA preferred).
5+ years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, within the manufacturing sector.
10+ years of experience in corporate finance, managing multidivisional organizations, including job costing and profit analysis.
experience with public company financial and accounting leadership responsibility
Expertise in IFRS accounting standards, tax planning, and financial policies.
Proven success in rebuilding teams and improving processes to ensure operational excellence.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems and financial process.
Ability to manage compliance, audits, and financial risk effectively.

Role & Responsibilities
Financial Management & Planning
Oversee and manage the company’s financial activities, including developing annual operational and capital budgets and cash management plans.
Ensure compliance with regulatory entities and IFRS standards.
Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the organization’s fiscal performance, aligning financial strategies with business objectives.
Manage longer-term budgetary planning and cost control measures in alignment with strategic goals.
Financial Reporting & Risk Management
Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of internal and external financial reports, including monthly statements and annual audits.
Oversee financial analysis of budgets and forecasts to provide actionable insights to the CEO and senior leadership team.
Monitor and manage financial risks to maintain financial stability and liquidity.
Strategic Vision & Leadership
Provide financial leadership to drive business results, operational efficiencies, and sustainable growth.
Align the financial function with the company’s strategic vision, ensuring operations and tactics support growth objectives.
Communicate the strategic vision to management, ensuring alignment between goals and operational plans.
System & Process Optimization
Plan and oversee upgrades to financial systems, processes, and ERP platforms to enhance accuracy and reporting capabilities.
Coordinate and manage ERP systems across the organization, ensuring their proper functioning.
Recommend and implement technology strategies to support business growth and improve financial operations.
Leadership & Team Management
Oversee the activities of the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reports are produced on time.
Build and mentor a high-performing finance team that aligns with the organization’s goals.
Provide ongoing support and training to staff, fostering a strong internal control environment and best practices in accounting.
