Assistant Vice President of Operations

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with both local and remote teams to ensure seamless operations, exceptional project delivery and client satisfaction, and the continued professional growth of team members. As the
Assistant Vice President of Operations , you will oversee day-to-day operations of the
Cranberry Township, PA
office, driving both operational excellence and employee engagement. You will coach and mentor team members, support client relationships, and collaborate with leadership to ensure the smooth execution of the firm's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Coaching:
Lead and inspire Group Managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects, fiscal responsibility, and alignment with the company's high professional standards Operations Planning & Budgeting:
Design and execute portions of the annual Operations Plan, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines Community Engagement:
Represent the company in local communities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders including clients, government officials, and community leaders Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the client relationship partner for existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships Culture Building:
Instill a culture of coaching, professional development, and employee engagement within the operations team Collaboration:
Partner with various departments (Service AVPs, Human Resources, Marketing, IT, Facilities, and Client Development) to optimize operations, resource allocation, and overall service delivery Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred 8+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Appropriate state Professional Licensure or Certification required Strong business acumen and proven experience in project management and delivering projects on time and within budget Experience driving operational efficiencies and implementing process improvements Ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative teams, with a strong emphasis on coaching, mentoring, and fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization virtually, by telephone, or in-person Proficiency in common business tools (Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting platforms, etc.). Ability to travel 20-30% of the time (daily/overnight) by car, train, or air as needed. (Valid U.S. driver's license is required) Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required Life at HRG
