Vice President, Division Human Resources
to join our team located in
Mounds View or
St. Cloud, Minnesota, MN . As the Vice President, Division Human Resources, you will lead all aspects of Human Resources for an assigned global division of Quanex Building Products with approximately 2,000-3,500 employees. The successful individual will lead in a manner that fully integrates the HR function into the organizations business operations throughout multiple teams and locations. As a trusted and confidential advisor, you will partner with the division leadership team to lead and manage the delivery of human resources on matters relating to organizational development, employee relations, performance management, training, safety, workers compensation, legal compliance, and talent management. What Success Looks Like: Partner with the division President, division leadership, and individual locations to ensure company strategic initiatives and culture are being demonstrated and driven by leadership, surfacing any gaps and resolving them directly. Ongoing assessment and development of talent as part of broader year-round talent management strategies. Act as both a business partner and internal coach to supervisors and leadership. Lead 7-12 direct or indirect reports in the Human Resources department. Execute strategies that will help expand the knowledge and effectiveness of people to accomplish and exceed goals. Ensure the appropriate level, quality, and effectiveness of HR programs and services across all regions of the division. Help evolve the company's culture and values, including driving employee engagement to enable a high-performing workforce that contributes to strategic growth and profitability. Assist in leading organizational alignment and structures to enhance the company's growth opportunities and objectives. Ensure consistent, timely, and accurate application and compliance with applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations. What You Bring: 12-15 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions. Bachelors degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management or a related field required. Masters degree and/or HR certification preferred. Multi-site management experience required. Experience in multiple countries/cultures strongly preferred. Expertise in a broad range of topics including employment law, organizational design and effectiveness, leadership development, succession planning, change management, culture assessment, employee/labor relations, and workers comp. Proven track record on being a successful mentor and developer of leaders. Proven track record on being equally effective and credible in building relationships and communicating across the spectrum of constituents. Experience managing and helping to build a culture across multiple locations. Willingness to travel to field locations globally approximately 25-30% of the time. The targeted salary range for this position is $160K to $230K plus potential to earn an annual bonus. About Quanex,
