FDOT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager specialized in Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to FDOT standards and regulations. Responsibilities include managing project budgets, schedules, and resources, coordinating with subcontractors, stakeholders, and FDOT representatives, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Project Manager will also handle contract negotiations, change orders, and problem resolution while maintaining clear communication with all parties involved. Key Responsibilities: Manage FDOT heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion. Ensure compliance with FDOT specifications, permits, and regulations. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Monitor project performance and mitigate risks to ensure successful delivery. Handle contract negotiations, change orders, and dispute resolution. Qualifications: Proven experience managing FDOT projects (roadways, bridges, utilities, etc.). Strong knowledge of FDOT standards and procedures. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. PMP or similar project management certification.
