Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Equity Associate with 2-4 years of financial experience to join our growing investment team. As an Associate, you will play a key role in sourcing and evaluating potential investment opportunities, performing in-depth financial analysis, and supporting portfolio management efforts. Key Responsibilities: 1. Investment Research, Analysis & Due Diligence: Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis (DCF, precedent transaction, comparable company analysis). Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, including analysis of financial statements, market trends, and industry outlook. Perform due diligence on target companies, including reviewing legal, financial, and operational information. 2. Deal Execution: Support senior team members in deal sourcing, structuring, and negotiation efforts. Assist in preparing investment presentations for internal investment committees and external stakeholders. 3. Portfolio Management: Support the portfolio management team in the monitoring of the financial performance of portfolio companies and prepare quarterly reporting for senior management. Assist with portfolio company strategic initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational improvements. Develop performance dashboards and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the portfolio. 4. Market Research & Industry Analysis: Conduct sector and company-specific research to identify potential investment opportunities. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform investment decisions. 5. Team Collaboration & Support: Work closely with senior team members to support various aspects of the investment process. Qualifications: · Experience: 2-4 years of financial experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate finance. Proven experience in financial modeling, valuations, and performing financial due diligence. · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from a top-tier institution. CFA, MBA, or other relevant certifications are a plus, but not required. · Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, data analysis, etc.) and PowerPoint (presentation creation). Strong working knowledge of financial statement analysis, accounting principles, and corporate finance concepts. · Personal Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and interact with external partners. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for investing.
