The Opportunity
We’re looking for a
Research Analyst
who excels at transforming data into compelling, actionable insights that drive our content strategy. You will conduct in-depth research, utilizing first-party data, surveys, and other data collection methods to uncover key trends and opportunities in our industry. By working closely with the content and marketing teams, you will play a crucial role in turning complex data into engaging stories that resonate with our audience and strengthen our brand’s presence as a thought leader in the field. How you will make a difference day to day: Conduct thorough research by analyzing first-party data, surveys, and external data sources to uncover trends, challenges, and opportunities within our market. Design and execute surveys and data collection initiatives to gather insights from our audience, ensuring robust and reliable datasets for analysis. Develop comprehensive research reports to be leveraged in content creation, marketing campaigns, and product positioning. Collaborate with content, marketing, and product teams to translate research findings into engaging, data-backed content such as whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and industry reports. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies, regularly sharing insights with stakeholders to help shape research direction. Analyze data from multiple sources, including proprietary databases, surveys, and third-party reports, to develop a holistic understanding of the market landscape. Present research findings to internal teams, providing clear and concise reports that highlight key insights and recommendations. Support thought leadership initiatives by providing data and insights that serve as the foundation for high-quality content across various platforms. Minimum qualifications: 5-7 years of experience in a research or data analysis role, preferably within the technology, SaaS, or data-driven industries. Proven ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research, including survey design, data collection, and data analysis. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker, Domo, or Data Studio for presenting research insights and reports. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey research findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Highly organized and capable of managing multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results. Familiarity with research tools and platforms such as SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, or Typeform for survey creation and distribution. Preferred qualifications: Experience in a B2B SaaS, technology, or data-driven organization focused on the IT & Security audience. Familiarity with market research methodologies, including competitive analysis, customer surveys, and industry trend monitoring. Experience working with content teams to translate research insights into compelling narratives.
