Position Summary:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
Interpret data, analyze results, and provide actionable insights.
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Create and present detailed reports, visualizations, and dashboards to stakeholders.
Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across various platforms and sources.
Collaborate with other departments to provide data-driven solutions.
Conduct detailed data quality checks and audits.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
Minimum of [5] years of proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
Federal government experience is required.
Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, R, Python, Excel, Tableau).
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), and programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field.
Experience with big data analytics and cloud computing platforms.
Familiarity with federal data policies and regulations.
Certification in data analytics or related field.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
Strong understanding of federal government operations and data requirements.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
$90,000 - $110,000 a year
