Echo Sonographer needed for Fargo, ND!
Hospital setting
40 hours: 8 hour shifts. Start times of 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. Staffed/call one weekend/month along with another staff member. Both clinic and hospital.
Call one day/week
Willing to wait for candidates to get the ND license, but please have them start the application ASAP, can take 6 weeks to get.
PEDS exp is highly preferred, but not required.
Perform inpatient and outpatient transthoracic echocardiograms for both adult and pediatric patients.
Occasional stress echocardiograms and assist with transesophageal echocardiograms.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
Machines:
Philips Epiqs, Affinity’s and IE33’s. GE E95 and Vived E9
Reporting systems:
Epiq Cupid - reporting
Sectra – Cardiology PACS
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Graduate of accredited program with at least three year of experience
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
BLS - must be AHA
RDCS (PE) or RCS
Shift or schedule requirements.
Mostly clinic and hospital shifts ranging from start times of 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM.
Staffed/call one weekend/month along with another staff member
Call one day every other week
Will work alone only after hours if called in
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
500 bed hospital
5 outpatient clinic rooms
Dress Code:
Grey Scrubs or provided light blue scrubs
