We are working on an exciting opportunity with a leading manufacturing company in Janesville, Wisconsin for a General Accounting Supervisor. The individual will play a crucial role in overseeing accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and implementing auditing procedures. This position works directly with financial leadership of a global company and has many paths to future growth for an individual who takes this role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the effective operation of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems to manage and streamline accounting procedures

• Delegate duties to direct reports to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to regulations

• Conduct financial auditing procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with laws and regulations

• Maintain responsibility for SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley testing to ensure compliance with financial regulations

• Implement Continuous Process Improvement strategies within the accounting department to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience with 2+ years of supervisory experience.

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems.

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of all Accounting Functions.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Proven skills in Auditing.

• Familiarity with SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.

• A strong track record in Continuous Process Improvement.
