What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team and contribute to the expansion and development of our data analytics, modeling and reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with SQL and at least one BI reporting platform (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sigma). This role will involve collaborating with various teams to produce effective business intelligence solutions, develop key reporting to drive business insights and growth, provide ad hoc assistance, maintain and iterate on current reporting, assist in migration projects, and identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.

What would you do? Work closely with stakeholders in Data Science, Ticket Strategy, Software, Finance, and Operations to design and execute effective Business Intelligence solutions utilizing BI tools such as Sigma and Power BI Create internal and external facing dashboards, enhancing data share and analytics to our partners and driving business growth Provide daily ad hoc assistance across departments based on deep knowledge of our data warehouse and SQL Ensure efficiency and accuracy in reporting, through effective, clean query writing Maintain and iterate on current reporting processes to improve data accuracy, relevance and provisions Utilize various analytical techniques and visualization tools to interpret data trends, patterns, and anomalies Identify development needs and opportunities to streamline and improve organizational operations for efficiency and profitability. Optimize and automate current processes, focusing on continuous improvement. Translate business logic into efficient and standardized code using dbt (data build tool) to translate and visualize data to generate actionable insights Troubleshoot and resolve complex reporting and data issues What is required to succeed?

Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Proficiency with SQL for query writing and data manipulation Experience in data visualization with least one BI reporting platform (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sigma, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Familiarity with dbt (data build tool) and Snowflake is a plus Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Eagerness to quickly learn new tools and technologies Why work for Eventellect?
