Your Career We are looking for self-driven individuals who take ownership and are passionate about solving meaningful technical problems for public cloud security while working in a collaborative environment. Palo Alto Networks is building a world-class product management organization and is looking for a top-notch product manager to expand the team. As a Product Manager at Palo Alto Networks for our SASE solution including Prisma Access and Prisma SD-WAN, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, feature functionality and roadmap for the core Prisma Access, including cloud infrastructure and overall security/network architecture. You will be expected to deliver product functionality that matches Palo Alto Networks’ level of innovation found throughout the product. You will be involved in all stages of the feature lifecycle (conception, definition, development, release and post-release activities) managing strategic planning, feature selection and tactical activities. Other responsibilities include collaborating with Product Marketing to create product related sales and marketing materials; evangelizing the products and product strategy both internally and externally. Your Impact Help build and launch a new class of public cloud security platform by extending, enriching and enhancing Prisma Access Own the entire lifecycle of the feature/product from conception, definition, development, release Work with the product marketing team to develop compelling sales tools and marketing content to support sales and field marketing teams Work with NPI, certification, professional services, support, and education team, to ensure your products get coverages by these cross-functional teams Work with legal, InfoSec, engineering, technical marketing and other internal teams to ensure compliance with various privacy and data protection regulations Qualifications
Your Experience Successful experience in Product Management or Technical Marketing Engineer role in networking and/or security domain Market and customer analysis, requirements development, business case, collateral, product strategy, and product positioning Ability to take on full ownership of Product lifecycle from conception, writing product requirements, working with engineering to build the product and then working with sales to drive customer adoption Feature prioritization and trade off decision making Ability to work effectively with all areas of the organization, from engineering to sales Customer engagement and relationship development for executive briefings, product evangelism, and requirements gathering Excellent written and verbal communication for internal and external audiences Strong desire to build world-class technology and take ownership of the full product life cycle BS/MS in Computer Science, other
engineering/technical
degree or in business, MBA or equivalent military experience required Minimum 3 years in product management or technical expertise in the networking space required Proven analytical and problem-solving skills required Drive to design something new, innovative, and disruptive Hands-on nature with very strong interest in new technology products Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent presentation skills Excellent people skills, team mentality Demonstrable track record of success
